Season Two Thoughts

Beth tries desperately to remember literally anything that happened within the last season given the way her exams deep fried her brain. As the girls slowly realise that Mark Shepard good seems to be her #1 take away from the last season. Jamie tries to understand the numerous complex processes happening in Beth’s brain. Beth also pitches I’m a thief get me out of here which is sadly not where they go with the season but is a fascinating idea.

Episode 28: The Maltese Falcon Job

Just like the elevator in the episode the girls are stopping to talk about every single point this week as they reflect on The Maltese Falcon Job. Beth reflects on the sheer number of car ads in the season and Jamie is in awe of Parker ‘hangs off buildings by her fingertips’ no last name.

Episode 27: The Three Strikes Job

This week the girls are reflecting on the Goncharov parallels. Beth is so excited to see the flashback return. They compare notes on the best Wii Sports games and make plans to embrace the best gaming console. Jamie attempts to not lose her mind as Beth explains her theory that  the team is going to put Nate on the timeout bench.

Episode 26: The Future Job

To welcome in the new year the girls take a look at The Future Job. Jamie is grateful that Beth is finally seeing just how Dean!Coded Parker can be after sitting on the information of months. Beth campaigns for the team to get a pet gecko named Frank while Jamie revisits the Tumblr reptile election of 2016.

Episode 25: The Zanzibar Marketplace Job

Sterling is back, he’s better than ever and Beth is excited. Jamie and Beth disagree about the ethics of paying a bartender to ignore a bar fight. Tara and Maggie become BFFs for life and the girls are overjoyed. They consider the implications of Nate’s return to drinking.

Episode 24: The Bottle Job

Jamie truly tries to be as vague as possible this week as she internally screams over the implications this episode presents while also generally losing her mind. Beth decides to be ominous about SPN on the Leverage podcast and in a truly terrifying turn of events the girls share the braincell. They also debate whether it is possible  to put furniture into a chair.

Episode 23: The Runway Job

Put on your Sunday best pilgrim chic as the girls discuss an episode which has some brave and terrifying costumbing decisions. Beth decides to put on her theorising as Jamie adores and hates every decision which has led her to this point. Nate hat theory continues to spiral out of control and Beth tries to puzzle out where the writers are going with Tara’s character arc.

Episode 22: The Lost Heir Job

In a stunning turn of events Beth has an opinion about the directing while Jamie tries desperately not to spill the beans on Tara's entire plot line. Episode 21: The Ice Man Job

After a season and a half Beth finally accepts Leverage into her heart in a process not dissimilar to  going through media puberty. They debate prime seating positions in Nate’s apartment and Jamie campaigns for Beth to have higher standards for media. Jamie outs herself as unwilling to die for others while Beth takes issue with the bystander effect.

Episode 20: The Two Live Crew Job

In an episode where Sophie would like Parker to stop telling everyone she’s dead Beth is accidentally Nate coded and we get a new edition of “Can Beth get more annoyed about not hating Nathan Ford?” This week it's a special limited edition variant (she’s annoyed that she kind of likes Nate and Sophie as a ship). And the girls commit to tracking the number of buildings and cars blown up before promptly never doing it again.
